Mary Louise Hayes is originally from New York, born in Harlem and raise in The Bronx. Mary received her first taste of entrepreneurship from her father who owned his own painting business in Harlem. He taught Mary how to count money and do invoicing. While growing up, Mary had a desire to run her father’s business or have businesses of her own.
Mary graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelors in Communication Arts. Mary worked during high school and college in billing for a insurance agency located in Manhattan. Little did she know her desire to help others would land her back in the financial arena as she joined Stewart Financial Services in May 2018. Mary’s expertise is in marketing and advertising in the field of “new” media making her a sought after for hr implementation and social media strategist. Her corporate experiences working for FOX Television, News America New Media and America Online Inc (AOL). where she served in Account Management. It was at AOL where she served as an Account Executive that fine tuned her business, negotiation and presentation skills. Having left the corporate arena, Mary stepped into the role of a small business owner herself and she has successfully helped may small businesses build effective marketing campaigns in the community.
Mary has her pulse on a particular market, teachers and young couples. Having lost her husband, Mary understands the need of building a solid financial foundation. Her new marketing campaign is to empower families to be prepared for the unexpected. She understands the need of still having to provide and be the sole caretaker of your children while keeping things and normal as possible. Mary’s mission is to introduce people to the “new kind” of insurance and help them find, save and accumulate money for College Planning, Mortgage and Debt Reduction and Tax Free Retirement. Mary’s believes, you have one life to live and you should “Live Life to the Fullest Until it Overflows”.
Mary is the founder of Black Business Women of Loudoun County a group started in 2018 on Facebook for women of color (WOC) to freely share information about their business, events etc so the Women of Loudoun County can collectively market, recommend and support each other. Mary is also the Co-Founder of Mocha Moms of Loudoun County Virginia Chapter, where she serves as the Vice President and Treasurer a fast growing group of likeminded women to support themselves and the communities they live. Mary also completed a 2 year team as the Founding Vice President of Membership for the PTSO of Riverside High School where they raised over $53,000 to support the teachers, students and school beautification projects.
Mary is a mother to 3, a faithful daughter to her parents and a friend to many. She active in her church community, volunteers and is looking forward to servicing you and her clients.
